Coco Dawson

Description : Man what a cat!.Coco was a gift from God left at our door. Someone did us a great favor when they left him in a box on the side of the road. Because we were the lucky ones to find him and bring him into our home. He started his life as a tiny little fur ball, not even weighing a pound. Low and behold, he grew and grew and grew to a whopping 18 pounds! A bundle of fluffy joy. We've never known a cat as unique. We sometimes think, Coco thought he was a dog. He would sit, beg, and jump for his treats. He had a ribbon fetish. We weren't able to put any bows or ribbons on any gift that Coco could come in contact with. He would eat it. It's like he couldn't control himself. Coco was the official door greeter. When the door bell rang he was first at the door to see who was there and he always made sure who ever it was saw him. Our brave protector! Coco was also like a clock. You knew what time of day it was by what he was doing. He liked his breakfast at 5:30 am and would make sure you were up by walking around your head and purring loudly. If that didn't work he would lick your head. He was always at the door when we left for work and waiting at the top of steps when we got home. He liked moving water and would really enjoy it, when we would put and ice cube in the water fountain. That was some time for amusement. Coco would bat it around until it melted and then look at you for more. Last August, we brought Coco a gift. A baby kitten. He didn't think of quite like that (a gift), it wasn't love at first sight, but she soon grew on him and they became friends. Coco liked her as long as she gave him his space. We used to find them cuddled up together and it was one of the cutest sights I've ever seen. Jazzie goes from room to room looking for him. We know she wants her Coco Boy. He was a great joy in our lives and a void has been left that can never be filled. He was like one of our sons and he will be greatly missed. Coco was diagnosed with diabetes, that led to liver disease. We lost the fight. His dad left work, I didn't go to work and the kids left school. We were all there with Coco. We all told him how much he meant to us and that we loved him more than anything. We stayed with him in our final devotion of love, until he went to heaven, where grandma and grandpa were waiting with open arms. Then we cried. We love you Coco, you will be missed, but never forgotten.
