Molly came to us back in 1995. She was a Manx and very tiny. She had wandered into our yard and had open wounds on her back and did not look like she was going to make it. We took her to the vet and found out that someone had also used her for target practice as she had several BB's lodged inside of her. The vet got her all fixed up and back to health and she became a permanent member of our family. She definitely wandered into the right yard!
It has been a joy for the past 9 years having her in our lives. She was a total lap cat and wanted a lap whenever she could find one to hop up on. Molly has had numerous medical problems over the past nine years including 3 bladder stone surgeries, a hernia surgery and hyperthyroidism. She was treated for all of those and was fine.
However, this past June the vet seems to think she had a stroke which also caused some other problems and she was unable to recover from that. On December 3rd, 2004 we had to do our final act of love for her and let her go. She will be forever in our hearts. She was tiny but mighty and the best cat anyone could have ever asked for. We love you Molly and miss you terribly! |
