We are very sad today. We lost our beautiful boy, Niko. Niko was 12 1/2, and despite his hard battle with cancer, he was a true champion until his last second on this earth. We know how much he was loved by all of his friends and family, and what happiness he brought to everyone he met. We know he is up in doggy heaven with his tennis balls, stuffed bear, and eating an endless supply of apples and carrots. Please remember him in your prayers today, and wish him a safe journey to his new destination. We love Niko so very very much, and he will be greatly missed by us, and his little brothers, Grover and Rufus, who have been sitting by the window wondering and waiting for their big brother to come home. We want to thank everyone for their kind wishes over the past few months, while he lost his ability to walk. We know he is running free now, chasing butterflies, swimming, and, of course, searching for something tasty to eat!
