Bubba Cubbie Kimmbell, 06/02/1995 - 2/12/2008
Contessa Tessa Bellkimm, 09/21/1995 – 11/22/2008
Our precious pugs brought such joy to our lives, and we will miss them forever. Bubbie was a little cone-headed Pug who stayed in an open cage, had the biggest feet of any puppy, and sat gently with his dying human grandmother when he was only 6 weeks old. He was a big, beautiful pug, our show pug, who galloped like a horse and never fought. He made friends with everyone he met. He could not bear to have his sister Tessie out of his sight. The doctors could not help him, and he died very bravely and gently at home on Feb 12, 2008. We will love him forever and thank God that he was such a sweet, lumbering love in our lives.
Tessie was a perfect, tiny pug, always clean, very vain, and she loved to show off in a sporty convertible. We went to get a boy pug, but she made it clear that she was coming home with us and would be in charge, the Alpha Pug, despite her diminutive size. She spent her last several years with the ravages of paralysis, and she bore her illness like a princess and a hero. She made us proud with her incredible strength and courage, but we finally let her go to Bubbie on 11/22/2008. Thank you Peanut and Bubbie; you have been our lives.
